Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Trend Hunter collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our commerce-intelligence tools, website, and account services.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your email address, account details, store and product links, monitoring preferences, shipment information, notes, and support communications. When you choose Google sign-in, we receive basic profile information authorized by Google, such as your email address, name, profile image, and Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.

We also collect technical and usage information such as browser type, device information, IP address, login events, feature usage, error logs, and security signals. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by Trend Hunter.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide requested features, synchronize saved data, process subscriptions, send account and service messages, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve the product, enforce plan limits, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Google user data

Trend Hunter uses Google account data only to authenticate you, create or connect your Trend Hunter account, display basic account information, and protect access to your saved data. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, or other Google services. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. Product and store monitoring

When you submit public store or product links, Trend Hunter may retrieve publicly available page information such as names, images, prices, ratings, availability, and structured metadata. Availability varies by website, location, login requirements, and access restrictions. We do not guarantee that public data is complete, current, or error-free.

5. Service providers

We rely on service providers to operate Trend Hunter, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments and subscriptions, Google for optional sign-in, Resend for transactional email delivery, and Cloudflare for website delivery and security. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

6. Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers as needed to operate the service, with authorities when legally required, to prevent fraud or harm, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets with appropriate protections.

7. Data retention

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some records may remain in backups for a limited period. You may request account deletion, subject to information we must retain by law or for legitimate security and financial purposes.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your choices and rights

You may update account information, change notification preferences, disconnect Google sign-in by managing connected applications in your Google Account, or request access, correction, export, or deletion where applicable. Rights vary by location.

10. Children

Trend Hunter is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must be legally able to enter into these Terms or use the service with authorization from a parent or guardian.

11. International use

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Trend Hunter evolves. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email.
